This is my first post as Jane Doe on the word press blogs. I am not new to the blogger world, but it is however my first attempt using word press, so I will be learning their layout, settings etc. for awhile.
I am a christian woman trying to make sense of a world where I feel as if I do not belong. I am passionate about the Lord and serving Him.
I have had knowledge of the Lord since I was a small child and even went forward at an altar call to be born again when I was a teenager. I was baptized at the age of 19 and yet…I was a false convert until several years later.
Why the anonymity? Well, I considered the pros and cons of this move long before I began the blog. I intend to (occassionally) write things here that are of a personal nature. Things some of my own family members do not know. Sometimes this blog may read like a diary…so one can understand the implications of having my identity known. I do not feel that I would write honestly or entirely if my name were on it. I have stories that I have kept to myself that would tear my family from limb to limb if they knew.
Although the Lord has healed me of old wounds, I’ve always felt like He was whispering…”Tell your stories….”. I believe some of them might be significant to others and will help heal their souls. They WILL bring glory to the Father as you see the Lord claim and bring victory to a lost, broken, and hopeless person.
Mostly, I intend to direct anyone who drops by my page back to the Old Paths that the Lord has cleared for us. We have walked so far from Him…even the ones whom He calls by name. We do things everyday that are so hateful to the kingdom of God and we do them without ever thinking about them. Things that our parents did without questioning the whys and things that their parents did…Things that we should fall on our face before the Lord over, crying out in repentance!
Let us all come together and return to an entirely Biblical Worldview. Let’s begin to see the world through the eyes of the Lord in everything we do, say and hear.
Thus says the Lord: “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.'” –Jeremiah 6:16
